We started the meeting by talking about how each of us was doing, what our plans were for the coming days, and just generally getting to know each other before getting started with the assignment.
Finding a date for the assignment was a challenge, considering our very different schedules and the large time zone differences. In the end, we managed to find two dates that worked for everyone. We did, however, have to compromise on the assignment order and ended up doing Assignment 5 ahead of Assignment 4 because of a scheduling mismatch with Michael.
During our global Zoom meeting, we had a good time communicating with each other, and we got to know how much we had in common in our everyday lives and career goals. It was exciting to see what kind of pressure others were feeling and it was interesting to see what people valued most in their decision-making. It was also cool to get to know each other on a more personal level. I enjoyed being able to see everyone’s face instead of just in Virtual Reality.
