Wednesday evening was our last evening together because our American guests would leave on Thursday morning. So we wanted to get everyone gathered at one place again and get ready for our “last dance” together after our great presentation at viadee.
To fulfill the plan we wanted to invite everyone, including our professors, to a homely dinner that embodies classic Westphalian food since not one of the Americans tried it at this point. We managed to get a reservation for Pinkus which only serves Westphalian food and also some special beers we were able to try. We met there at 8pm and had some delicious food in combination with some awesome drinks. After we were all set and finished our dinner we split up into two groups. The first group wanted to play some cards in the Cavete which is just across the street of Pinkus and the other group went to the Prinzipalmarkt to enjoy the warm evening with some more drinks.
Later this evening those who wanted have gone further to the Altstadt to visit some more pubs. But since it was crowded this did not lead to great success. And after a short period of time we agreed on switching the plan to visiting the club Amp where we stayed the rest of the night.
Throughout the evening, there were always some people that ended the day at some point. When saying goodbye to everyone we were sad that the week already ended since we had much fun together but we were happy to be a part of this awesome week. This of course includes the free time we used to spend together but also working on the case that viadee provided to us. Only one week was enough for us to grow together as a group that had much fun working together and getting to know each other pretty well. All in all, we ended the week in a great way with activities in the evening everyone enjoyed.
