After our first day at university, we rented bikes from Swapfiets for the students from Georgia. Even though short-term rentals aren’t really part of their business model, the deal was hard to beat compared to other options. Our American guests, a bit shaky at first on two wheels, made their way to the accommodation and checked in without any major incidents.
After checking in and taking a short break, we met up again for dinner at Kulti Kebab. Later, we took our visitors on a walking tour of Münster’s city center. We strolled down Salzstraße, paused to admire the impressive Lambertikirche and the Prinzipalmarkt. From there, we visited the Münster Cathedral and the Überwasserkirche. Our route ended at the grand castle, one of Münster’s iconic sites. Throughout the evening, we shared stories about Münster, its rich history, and our favorite things to do in the city.

Our final stop was the Aasee, where we relaxed by the water, listened to music, chatted, and played some games. Although the evening turned out to be colder than we had expected, the good company and cheerful vibes kept us warm. It was a perfect way to welcome our guests and kick off their visit to Münster.
