The goal of this assignment was to create a plan for our week together that we could follow. Each group created their own plan so that we could compile a few different ideas and develop a final plan.
Each group met in a Zoom meeting one last time. We started by discussing the Design Thinking process. This included determining how much time was needed for each phase and which methods could be used for each phase. First, we brainstormed methods by writing down every method we had used in prior assignments and that came to mind. Then, we decided which methods were the most useful and made a “final” list of three or four methods per phase.
Based on that list, we tried to make a rough estimate of how long each phase would take and mapped it out for the week. We made the plan as broad as possible to allow us to take the necessary time for each phase without worrying about time constraints too much. We put a strong emphasis on the early phases, because they help us to thoroughly understand the case. At the same time the later phases and especially the testing phase are very hard to properly do within our limited time and resources.
